candle thing: everyone deals with grief differently...but i'm not sure that is the healthiest way. my husband's best friend in high school died in a car accident two years after graduation. his family still photoshops him into family christmas cards. i'm not critizing- because THANK JESUS i don't have to know what i would do...yet, if this ever happened to me. i'm just saying- i think there are healthy and unhealthy forms of grieving.
broncos: what the heck? talk about making opening day a little too exciting! but yes, they won. good enough. although- elam is my fantasy kicker...would have liked the two field goals he missed back.

I didn't know you were a Broncos fan. Go Broncos.....a win is a win, right??? The infamous Jay Cutler looked a little like Jake Plummer...did you hear the announcer call him Jake Plummer once? Funny! Luckily Jay is a rookie and will hopefully only get better, where Jake had been in the NFL for 10 years and was still making those same mistakes. I am crossing my fingers for a good season. Do you get many Broncos games on TV in SD?
