Kerrie, I meant to mention to you when you changed your blog... I had thought about saving my writings and such as well. Then I figured out that I could just copy them, right click "Copy", and then paste them into word. It works beautifully. It even transfers any pictures I use. So I have a copy of it all. (without all of the background stuff from blogger).
I am still glad I got a different one. I had my doubts about the thing before that report even came out. I would rather feel my child was safe, even at 70mph!!
Well Tracy, at least you did what's best for your children. I forgot to even check my son's car seats when we got back from our vacation. (Yes, we have one for each car.)
To Anonymous, who mentioned not to believe everything you read in print ... you're right. We should all check a variety of sources. However, the Argus can't be blamed for this. The story was a national one, and not an Argus Leader exclusive.
Yes, out by Consumer Reports. I would have done the exact same thing. Plus, today on the Today show they said the Discovery was the worst and they stood by that report - which is what both my friends had.
Also, we all go 70 which is the speed that report was taken at. Still good information in my book.

Just thought I'd share:-)
Are you freakin' kidding me?!? I was ONE that went and bought a new one. I tell ya! What a person does for the safety of their child!
UGH!!!
The old expression, "Don't believe eveything you read in print."
You should all know that you live in Argus Leader land.

We're talking about children here...
The old expression: Better safe than sorry!

Wasn't the story put out by Consumer Reports?
