Natey brought home his school pictures yesterday. I was so excited. I think they turned out so cute! He looks so grown up to me. I ohhh'd and ahhh'd and as he stood there beaming. It was pretty cute.
School seems to be going ok for him. He's told me twice about being punched - once in the stomach and once in the back. The hard part about hearing that is not knowing if it was someone being mean or just someone bumping into him. Nonetheless it hurts his feelings which in turns hurts my feelings.
Anyway, there is Natey's school picture. =)

He is getting so big. What a cute kid you have.

Oh, that breaks my heart too. He's such a sweet kid!
He does look all grown up in his school picture!
Cute picture, he does look grown up. I love his smile! That's funny that you went to school with Patty and Arne. I was actually there at the same time in the nursing program. Funny!! They have a blog all about their adoption adventure, here is the site if you want to check it out.

Cute new baby on your other post too, I love new babies!!
He's a handsome little guy.
I hope the rest of the year goes well for him. It makes me tear up when I hear about stuff like that happening -- and at such a young age. I hope it was just an accident.
What a handsome little guy you have there! ;)
Still wondering why we didn't get our pictures yesterday...
patiently waiting...
What a very grown up picture!! He looks like such a little man!
Very cute pictures!! It is just crazy how much older and bigger they look in school pictures!!
I feel so bad that he was punched...for whatever reason!! Hurt my feelings too!!
What a little gentleman! He's so handsome. Your kids always take great pictures!
He is a dashing young man. :O)
Great picture - he looks like such a big boy! I can't wait to see Gabriel's pictures (any day now....)
We had a playground issue as well. I saw Gabriel crying in the van on the way home (2 days in a row) because two girls didn't want to play with him anymore. He seems to gravitate toward playing with girls (his best friend across the street is a girl), and I tried to explain to him that some girls only like playing with other girls. This only made him cry harder - breaking my heart and his at the same time!
Anyway, I finally spoke with his teacher about it, and whatever she did or said (have I mentioned that I LOVE her) he's hasn't had a problem since.
It's so hard sending them off to deal with this stuff all by themselves, isn't it??
That is a really cute picture.
Our school pictures NEVER turn out. They make my kids look like TOTAL NERDS. While that may very well be the case ... they don't need to LOOK like it.
I should post them just to show you how true it is. It's almost comical.
