For some reason - I'm ready

Tracy and I are avid fans of Clay Aiken. There. I said it. My name is Kerrie and I enjoy Clay Aiken. Phew, I feel better. I have all his CD's and I enjoy them all. Don't get me wrong, he's no Keith Urban, but I do enjoy Clay's music.

Last year I was in Sioux Falls doing some Christmas shopping when I had to take a break to nurse Jack. I pulled behind some buildings and got settled in. I looked though my CD's and found Clay's Christmas CD. I put it in the player and immediately felt better. It's not that I was feeling bad, it just reminded me of how much I loved that CD and the season.

My favorite track is #6, Mary Did You Know. For me, his voice fits this song perfectly. I don't know why, but this song was the first thing I thought of this morning. The great thing about this song is that I don't need it to be December to enjoy it.

Last night I sent a friend an e-mail checking in on her. I thought she seemed to be in a funk. She e-mailed me back saying that while she is dealing with some things right now, she's fine.

Even if you don't love Clay Aiken, I can't imagine there is any way you wouldn't love this song. This one's for you.

Please, everyone, enjoy. This just might be the day that you need it.

You don't have to justify anything to me! Gabriel asked me to sing some Christmas songs with him the other day, and from that point on I have been ready!!

I love Clay's voice. However, I have to admit I did not recognize him on the cover of his xmas cd. I just do not think that looks like him for some reason.

He has a phenomenal voice. There's absolutely nothing to be embarrased about.

Re. Christmas music in October ... I actually started singing/listening to it last month, all because of church choir and MasterSingers. For me, it's actually already February.

I have been a Clay fan since he was on American Idol. It's something my kids laugh at. I have even asked for his CD's as gifts to no avail.

I LOVE this song and I cannot hear it with out the tears falling.

Kerrie Meyer, you just made my day and made me long for Christmas. For anyone who knows me...I'm not a big fan of Christmas, but this brought out the true emotions in my heart.

You rock girl! THANKS :)

And so the Clay fans emerge. Of course...I LOVE CLAY! Always have since DAY 1 on American Idol. Are we going to tell people how many times we went to see him in concert. Um...no, okay! HA! Just kidding. I now have to get my CD out and sing some Christmas tunes. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that song!!!! Thanks!

I have that CD also - and LOVE it!!! I don't mind thinking of Christmas - just not the thought of snow that generaly comes with it.

You know I love Clay...not as much as you do, but I still am madly in love with his voice. "Mary Did You Know" is my favorite seasonal song ever, ever, ever!!! Kenny Rogers and Wynonna have a beautiful arrangement of it too. I also sang it in church once, and it's just as powerful to sing as it is to listen to.

I haven't listened to this song yet, but I will get the CD for Christmas time. Once I listen to it I will be in the Christmas spirit until Christmas so I better get through Halloween first! I like Clay too! I love the top of your blog, way cool!!!!

I don't know any Clay songs. Well besides this one now. It was a good song. I have been trolling the christmas isles all ready. I am super excited this year. I have room to decorate and have a tree!!! May be I should focus on getting through Halloween & Thanksgiving first.

Okay...I admit...I came back to here the song again today because well I am tired of this rain and it might as well be Christmas around here with being STUCK in this house. Okay I am done.

Brendon came up to the computer and said WOW, that song is BEAUTIFUL! Indeed it is...

Okay - I'm not a Clay fan but I can't argue that he doesn't have a great voice. He is just such a wimp!!!! I feel Alex could take him on in the "manly man" department
